Thank you for taking the time to visit John Travers' memorium page. On 3rd February 2016 John was diagnosed with terminal cancer. 

During this time, my family got comfort and support from the Maggie's Centres at Clatterbridge and Manchester as well as much support for myself as an employee of the Charity. Maggie's offer a unique and special type of support for people living with cancer and their families which is just what people need at this difficult time.  

Very sadly, my poor dad lost his battle (and it was the battle of a warrior...) with cancer on 14th August 2016. My mum, brother and I were all with him as he passed away and were holding his hands. 

We would like to raise funds for Maggie's Manchester and Clatterbridge so that other families living with the devastating impact a diagnosis of cancer brings, can be supported and take comfort from that support.
